hw 35 e

hi guys
having bought an hw 35e(dont know how old but its got a leather piston head?) and having it re blued and the stock re finished and got hold of a period scope not yet fitted.reason been i cant find any mounts to fit it.ive tried a set of sports match. hawk. and an old pair that ive had for years but there all cock eyed on the gun.i bet one of you guys on here can tell me why

Its because the early Weihrauch scope rails were 13mm.

I.M.O. the best mounts for these are the Apel one piece mounts.

are the mounts you mentioned 13mm?
did weihrauch or do they make a mount for this gun?
if possible i would realy like a period set of mounts for it if they made them

In all probability they would have made a mount to fit their rifle Ive just never seen one.
