Question Is This a Fair Price To Ask?

Hello BBS's, been offered an Air Ranger, so would like to know how much my Harrier X is worth with 10 shot mag, single shot adaptor, Swivel/Sling & possibly Hawke SR-6 3-12x50 Niteye Scope and 3ltr Bottle/Gauge/Filling Adaptor.
Is £550 a fair price to ask?
Hoping to know by tomorrow noon as i need to give an answer to chap selling Ranger.
    Many Thanks,
    Steve.

P.S and spare stock to go with Sporter Stock that is already on it.

    What calibre?
    What woodwork?
    What condition?
    What pressure is the bottle?

They all make a difference to sale-ability and price. A while back, I sold a .177 HarrierX (not X2) in as-new condition, with an ambi beech stock for £300 - obviously that was gun-only, but that seemed like the going price.

Depending on the answers to the questions above, I'd say somewhere nearer the £450 mark myself.......

    Just my opinion.

5 years test I believe if surface use only for the bottle.

I would agree with £450 or so.

    Cheers!

    Lightbulb Try Again?

Well its had 180+ viewed it and only 2 people advised a price, sure more can do the same please, i don't have long left for this Air Ranger to be on sale so need to know what to sell mine for.
Would it make it easier if i asked for prices of individual items by breaking kit up, i.e Rifle / Scope / Bottle?
Have 1 last try please whilst this Air Ranger is still available for me,PLEASE,.
    Thanks,
    Steve.

I agree that £450 is a more reasonable price.

although you may sell quicker if you are prepared to split

I would split, I think the small 232BAR bottle may make the rest harder to sell.

I'd chalk the rifle up at around £300-350, and then add on the other stuff.

Hi Steve - I guess if all those people have looked at the thread, and no-one felt the need to contradict the original estimates, then that in itself is a fair indication that most think it's a reasonable sum

I know it can be dis-heartening to find you're not likely to get what you want/need from a sale, but you have to bear in mind the state of the market, the fact that xmas is looming, so people might be holding on to their money, etc, etc and the cold truth that if you want to shift it quickly, you're gonna have to sell it at an attractive price (or consider splitting, in which case you might be left with just the rifle, or scope or bottle on it's own).

Sorry to be a doom-sayer, but that's the way the market works......

Hope you get the Ranger sorted one way or another!! Good luck.
