Changing scope reticules

Anyone know if it is finaincially viable to change the rets in medium/run-of-the-mill scopes ?

Am thinking Simmons WTCs and Bushnell trophys, etc., getting the duplex changed to milldot or similar multi-aim point types..?

Any ideas ?

I presonally reckon not, but would liek to be sure...

I remember Graham bluck offering alsorts of reticles to fit any scope in the early 90's so I assume that its possible. He was basically the cheaper version of Premier Reticles...

I have just received an email from Simmons UK, they say they they themselves do not change reticles for the Nightview range, and are not aware of anyone in the UK that does.

However, they say there is a small chance that Simmons in the USA carry out such alterations, but obviously postage costs might make it not worthwile.

They're finding out more about the possibilty for me. I'll keep you informed.

The ret in these is easily accessible, it's just a question of whether anyone does a replacement really....
