    There is an excellent Punt Gun section in the Royal Armories Museum in Leeds, with several examples and a very good life size display to show how it was done. Incidentally a lot of Punt Gunners killed themselves when the breech of their gun exploded right next to their face.

    I know this is an oldish post, but I seem to remember there's a guy in Dumfries who makes punt guns. Unfortunately this is all I know. Maybe you could contact gunshops, wildfowling clubs in that area of Scotland. Or possibly the BASC knows about him.
