    Webley mk3

    Hi,

I just posted a question about dating a Webley Mk3 on the main forum where it was suggested I might have better luck here, so here goes.
Can anyone date it for me the serial number is B87.

    cheers

According to Hiller, it is a 'late model', with the 'B' series production running from about 1963/4 onwards.

B 87 was made during the 3 weeks ending 26th August 1972, along with B1 to B100, all rifles being in .22 calibre.
They followed A9999 which had been made in the week ending 5th August 1972.
