.177 Webley Mark One Air Rifle,
Excellent as found example in perfect working order with quite a bit of finish remaining. Never been messed about or potched with.

Action is very tight with no wear and as good as when manufactured in the 20's. It has really clear impressed Webley logos and lots of patent stamps.

Quite a bit of blue left on it turning to brown and bright patina on wearing areas. Very smart walnut stock in excellent order with original finish and steel buttplate, perfect sights, safety, barrel catch etc.

The barrel axis pin, keeper screw is a later replacement, but I have sourced another real one and will include the cost of it in the sale. There is a tiny shake along the woodgrain (1cm long x 1/3 of a mm) in the LH cutaway of the stock behind the trigger guard. However this old and inert and hardly noticable. I've shot this rifle a lot and it has never increased.

This is a rare rifle and hard to find such a nice example. I'm only selling it as I need the funds to buy the bits for my central heating system.

I've see worn no finish guns with missing parts sell on here for £300 and heard of excellent ones sell for over a £1000 plus commission at auction.

So I've priced this at £625.00 plus postage of choice, which seems a fair deal alround.
