Bid on a Service MkII in the latest sale - how quickly to Holts let you know if you've won or not? I want to know if I've got myself an extra Chrissy pressie!!

Holts usually have everything posted on their website by 17.30 to 18.00 on the Friday after the close date(tomorrow). Good luck with the Mk2 Service. Which one was it?.

Sorry to here that. I intended to bid on lot 7037 but didn't in the end, I am also saving and looking to buy a MK2 Service. If it makes you feel better both examples there were not particularly good and both were missing parts.

Bloody hell I've just looked at Holts site they got those prices out quick, that other Mk2 for 172 was a joke.

That's the hammer price so commission is added on I think, plus VAT.

I made my bids on-line and found they had to be in increments of £10, which I thought was odd when some of the valuations were quite low.

Did you have to make postal or phone bids to be able to offer £39 rather than £40 or something ?

Never done a 'normal' auction before got a couple of questions after having read the posts, would anyone kindly answer any of them for me.

Whats the link to bid online, do they submit any pics of what you buying, I take it they check they work, can you pay via card/paypal and any idea of cost on delivery?
