KME KNife sharpener, everyone can have a razor sharp knife. I have one and it works perfectly for every knife.
Thats a post for everyone.I used to sharpen my survival knife, not on its own mini stone. But on a large flat looking pebble from whatever Loch I was on.This worked ok (Though not perfect it kept us going).Jim.(Night Owl).

Hi i have heard through the grapevine that Denim ( jean material) is also good to use for the finish on a knive sharpen? Anyone used this method! And does it work effectively?Regards Andy
All good advice here. I would add to always work the knife edge away fron you and reduce the sweeps of the stone until you are only doing one each way , then strop to a finish. If the blade will not slip over the surface of a fingernail but immediately 'grips' you have developed a pretty good edge.
found this very good as im always trying to keep my hunting knives sharp,i will check the links that have been put up and order a stone thanks for sharing
