Binos are rubber coated and have stipled areas for grip, very comfortable in use. The objective lense have rubber plugs instead of cups (for want of a better description) which are attached to the body of the binos so they can't be lost, the eye bells also have a single rubber cover attached to the very well padded neck strap which is 40mm wide and adjustable for length, the cover is attached permanently to the left strap but can be unclipped from the right, again so it cannot be lost. Optical quality is excellent, not quite the same as my Swarovski 8x50 scope but not far off, poor light and weather condition have proved to have no effect on the viewing quality. Instead of folding rubber eye cups it uses a system which is similar in use to fast focus eye bells. Focusing is both smooth and fast and very positive. Overall length of binos is 158mm with both covers fitted or 155mm while in use, they come with basic but clear instructions for set up and use.
The only thing that lets these down in the flimsy carry case (which I dont use)

All in all a very well made pair of binos
