    Action/barrel Finishs

    Morning all
    Well setting about refurbing my MKII HW 77 K have ordered a HW 97 stock which i will be refinishing but want some ideas re the action and barrel was going to go for re blueing but what other options are there have been thinking about polishing??? or painting/powder coating????

    KINGPLINKER!! Another option is bead blasting then blueing on top, used to be done by Venom, looks very nice IMHO, and a bit different. Less prep needed than standard blueing. Kingplinker is your man for polishing, looks very nice from some pics i've seen on here, Mark

    nickel plating looks good, unless you want it for hunting
    Or a quick dip by hydrographics

    Speak with John at Hydrographics, or a local metal finisher for the nickel plating. Prices can vary depending how much work is involved, when the ally stock for my Dommie goes to Hydrographics John needs to smooth all the casting marks then coat it silver and then apply the real tree coating! His best rough guess at the price was £180 max!
