Just spotted an article on this little gizmo in the latest edition of What Gun? Looks great and appears to solve the problem facing a purchaser of a rifle mainly for HFT but who wants to hunt occasionally.. If this device works well it it should be a very effective solution.
Does anyone on here own one and if so is it any good?

This passed me by until i was partnered up with a guy called Gary on the first round of the southern hunters at Shepreth, who was using one. Really nice bit of engineering, and he said it worked much better than the AA410 mag. i have a .20 AA40 and he reckoned they would be able to make a mag in that cal. Very tempting.
It is very popular on the Air arms owners club and the maker is on there as well.
Brilliant bit of kit, love it.
I'm a right-hander, but went for the left-handed version so I can nudge it round with my right hand as well as load the bolt. Keeps your left hand supporting the rifle.

In what way? I can only presume that he means better made/machined.I'm not knocking Rowan Engineering or their product in any way. However, I'm a little bemusd with the comparison. One is a dedicated multishot rifle with cocking and magazine indexing as one action.
The other is an aftermarket product that allows a 400 to have a magazine facility. The big difference being that it is a manual index. Hardly a direct comparison to justify it being "much better".
