Off topic I know but I've just visited his site. The non-paying customer page is a laugh..

I had one of the 4-16 tacticals. Fanatastic scope. Glass I think is by Schott AG who the glass for most of the top end scopes. Look through one of these and you'll think you've lived on carrots for a few weeks.

    Thumbs up

Had the Meostar on the Range today. I was able to measure its accuracy on rangefinding, spot on. Got on very well with on the range no issues at all. It would be fantastic if Meopta did a 6.5-20 but this scope is very good. I was shooting both the .223 with the Meopta and the .22-250 with the Leupold VXIII. There is massive difference between them, the clarity of the Meostar is awesome, the crispness of the ret is exellent.

    Recomended lads.

Paul an excellent post and good pics. I have been thinking about that scope for a while. I have had a Meopta 7x50 scope for about ten years now, and it's still going strong. Very reliable and excellent in low light. I like your pic of buster too, cheeky looking chap!

    Thanks Simon .

The only thing I would suggest is try and look through one because of the the fine xhair, it may not suit some people. Shame your not closer!

Like the sound of a 10 yard parallax..only prob with my Conquest is that you can't reparallax it down lower than the factory 30yds: factory job only, apparently, and the US factory at that..

Derek knows the following already, but for others.

Email to Seth at Europtics re: Zeiss Conquest 4.5-14x44 SWAT with RapidZ800 reticle, last July:

    "Hi Seth,
Zeiss USA have confirmed that it is possible to get this scope
re-parallaxed at the factory to air rifle ranges.
Minimum is 30yards as standard and I would like it down to around 10yards.
The longer ranges are irrelevant so it doesn't matter that it can't focus
    above 60yards!
I understand that this adjustment needs to be arranged through the
supplying dealer and wonder if you have experience with 'custom' work from Zeiss??"

    His response:

    "David,
Sorry for the slow reply. We are between sport shows and having trouble keeping up. Our price of the special order parallax is $50. I still can not provide a price for the rapid Z as we don't know for sure when they will be available. We will be able to sell them for $750 in black or silver and the re parallax will be extra.

I certainly hope that it is better than my Leupold VXIII 6.5-20X40 which it will replace as the scope sitting on my Tikka Varmint 6.5x55.
