    Need help concerning a HW97K.

I have an early version HW97K, serial number 1445484, in 4.5mm calibre.

Whilst shooting it this evening the components within the cocking lever came loose. Please see the attached picture.

I need to know the following:

    1) Are there any other parts apart from what is seen in the pic? I ask because nothing flew out and nothing seems to be stuck within the cocking lever but the exploded view on the Chambers website shows a lot more parts.

Edit: Just had a look down the underlever and there does seem to be a shiny metal tube within.

    2) What is the correct procedure to refix the parts after I get myself a new circlip?

    Thanks.

i think you have everything there except one thing... see that whole underneath? in there goes a roll pin ( if its like my mk2 which is similar, it fell out as well). Simple thing if you are, or your gunsmith is, competent to fix.

    Rob,

The hole and roll pin you are refering to is the part of the underlever latch assembly and there is nothing wrong with that.

It's the spring, plunger and circlip from within the underlever that has come loose.

Thanks Stu but as mentioned in my first post, I have already had a look at the Chambers website.

According the drawing the circlip (CL005) comes after the bolt tube (W233), bolt o-ring (OR020) and bolt washer (W234). The only way I can put the circlip on the underlever bolt (EC027) is if I remove part numbers W233, OR020 and W234 first. However, these parts seem to be held within the cocking lever by some sort of reverse conical 'dent'.

Question is how do I get these parts out?

Take a look at the photo.
First, look for the missing parts, if not there make youre own "look a like".
Drill a hole put in M3 and ready.

    Snock, thanks for the bump.

Joha, thank you very much for the pictures as it explains everything clearly. However, the bolt tube (W233), bolt o-ring (OR020) and bolt washer (W234) are not lost but stuck inside the cocking lever.

To remove them should I drill through the conical 'dent' seen in the picture below or is there some other method I could use to release the stuck parts?
