    Winter league 9 millride

    Like to thank all at millride for a great shoot as usual! shame its the last there! as usual the wind was awful had no idea where to aim

    Very tricky wind yet again. Did ok in the field only missing 2. Ended up with 18 total and was glad to get above 50%.

    There you are, I told you it was going to be a bit windy!
    We FTers must be either very hardy or totally Crackers to be outside on a day like this!
    I was expecting numbers to be a bit down today, but there we all were queuing for 50 mins or so to get on the first lane. Mad as a sack of Ferrets, the lot of us.
    I was Rocking & Rolling at the top like I was on the deck of a ship, my hat blew off twice, all for 7 targets!
    I stood & watched Jon Cox & James Osborne take down targets 29 & 30 in a totally open field with a head on gale in utter astonishment & admiration.
    No results as yet but I believe the top score was 22 which belies how difficult it was to achieve that many.
    Well done to all who braved it!

    I got target 30 and was well chuffed to do so, I forget which other target I got to double my score!!!! Not a good day at all for me, and...... who forgot to turn the heaters on?

    Lovely course all the same.

    It's in the wind,(Pun) not sure where yet though. Probably happening in the Summer.

    Enjoyed the course even with the wind (not) can just feel fingers and face has stopped burning now at last. Well done Carl with a 22 (did you have to walk home) LOL.
