    !950's Nostalgia.

Don't we all wish we could still obtain these items, especially at those prices.
    One can dream.

    1950`s

I used my Webley Junior, Cadet Major, and later a Webley Mk III and a Senior both "within the curtilage" of my parents "dwelling house" and beyond for the princely sum of 10s 6d p/a payable at the local post office.
In those days so many were ex services that the sight of an air rifle gave no cause for concern whatsoever. Indeed the usual comment was "Can I have a few shots please?"
    Nostalgia exemplified; many thanks.

Great scans. That Senior looks like a prewar one.

Excellent post and happily before my time, MAKES A CHANGE . I'd love to own a Webley MKIII and hope to eventually track one down when funds allow. Only ever held one, Dave Viperteks excellent example and was totally awed by the overall excellent Quality of the Rifle, beautifully engineered and blued and lovely walnut woodwork also.

Maybe Gareth WB's swapmeet will be the place to source one atlast .

You are quite correct Danny, both the Mk.1 and Senior illustrations are for pre war models.
Webley often used old print blocks for quite a while after a new model was introduced. This can be seen on their boxes and in their instruction sheets and catalogues, and, as in this example, other's catalogues as well.

Superb -- many many thanks indeed for sharing this and the other scans you have posted of late, from a very appreciative BBSer .
