thanks for posting ,, its a good read
hw 80custom, , hw 35 luxus, hw35 std,
I used my Webley Junior, Cadet Major, and later a Webley Mk III and a Senior both "within the curtilage" of my parents "dwelling house" and beyond for the princely sum of 10s 6d p/a payable at the local post office.
In those days so many were ex services that the sight of an air rifle gave no cause for concern whatsoever. Indeed the usual comment was "Can I have a few shots please?"
Nostalgia exemplified; many thanks.

Great scans. That Senior looks like a prewar one.
yep, thanks for another set of great pictures, i'm gonna print them out and fleabay them...only joking they would look good printed out and framed though
You are quite correct Danny, both the Mk.1 and Senior illustrations are for pre war models.
Webley often used old print blocks for quite a while after a new model was introduced. This can be seen on their boxes and in their instruction sheets and catalogues, and, as in this example, other's catalogues as well.
Superb -- many many thanks indeed for sharing this and the other scans you have posted of late, from a very appreciative BBSer .
