I am considering selling mine; it's a absolute mint boxed LP53 with all the originally supplied spare sight elements, cleaning rod, manual, test target & email from Walther confirming the date of manufacture as 1966.

I've not fixed a price as yet but expect it to fetch well excess of £200.

However I'm out of the country from tonight until the 27th Feb so am unable to do a deal until I return!

Have a look, by the way that's a bit of fluff you can see on the barrel

IF IT'S NOT BROKE.........DON'T FIX IT!

Very nice Wonky! I've seen quite a few boxed LP53s come on the market recently but to find a 1960s one mint like that is exceptional.

    Sorry, uncharted waters for me.

But I agree it should be above the £200 mark.

I have several boxed LP53's in similar condition, and I would ask £250 if I was selling one.
A cased LP53 would be a little bit more.

Thanks Troubleshooter for your input, I'm having the gun valued in the next few days, if the census of opinion is, it's worth £250, then I will probably not put it up for sale.

    All pms replied to!

    Lp53

    Hi Pat

Ken has informed me that the LP53 was posted today

Also the Premier Mk11 arrived today and the barrel was same type as yours but in .22 cal as advised
(according to G Bruce there were 2 types of barrel used on Mk11's)

I have posted it first class, so hopefully you may have it tomorrow
It will be interesting to know how accuracy of the Walther compares with the Webley
    thanks for your patience
    best regards
    John
