    Question Webley Vulcan Gas strut

    Hi All,

Does anyone know if it possible to fit a Theoben gas strut for a Webley Excel to a Webley Vulcan? I am currently rebuilding my Vulcan and fancied fitting a gas strut, but it seems they are no longer made? I can do any machining that may be required. Thanks in advance for any info

This lot might know and this would suggest that they are different.

    Thumbs up

    Hi Sam,

Many thanks for the quick reply and links, this forum is a goldmine of info. I didn't realise there was an alternative manufacturer to Theoben, so I will be purchasing the proper strut from these guy's.

    Best regards,

    M.T.

I don't believe that Theoben make the struts themselves anyway. As I understand it AWT have always been the maker of the aftermarket types.
