    Senior Part Required

    Hi guys.

I have a pre war Senior, that has lost a retaining pin from the trigger guard.

Any advice where I might find such an item

It should be easy to make one out of some steel wire the right diameter. Or, if you know someone with a lathe they could turn a bit of steel down for you. Let me know if you don't have any luck, I'll make you one on my lathe, I've got a Senior so can measure one of my pins. It won't be properly blacked or blued though, I'll try to sort it with some BC Gun Blue Creme but it probably won't be anywhere near as dark as the rest of the pistol.

You could probably make one from the shank of a drill bit. that would take care of the bluing as well. you would only need to put the gun bluing cream on the very tip where the drill was cut off.
Just choose a drill of the right size and there you go. Job sorted

Ok, sorry Rob, but its time to embarrass you.

Rob very kindly offered to make the missing pin for my Webley Senior.
It was posted to my door in a couple of days, and is a perfect fit and completes the pistol.

Despite my harassing, Rob would not take any payment for his work.

What more can I say, Rob you are a true gent, and thank you so much for taking the time to make that for me. Now it looks complete again its time to find a place to display it as well as enjoy it.

A shining example I think of what this forum is about.
