Thumbs up MFTA Club Team Cup Dowery Hill FTC

Congratulations to Dowery on putting on another great event, I very much enjoyed it. A challenging course with a hint of GP about it. By the time I got to a lot of the targets they looked as if Dowery had saved some money by only painting the very top & bottom of each plate leaving a KZ sized strip of bare metal, that blustery wind was a bit tricky wasn't it?
As I left, a Shoot off was taking place for the out come, on tenter hooks to find out the result. Many thanks to Steve & Mick for their camaraderie around the course today, a pleasure to shoot with both of you.

Dowry "A" team (of which I am a member) won it outright by 3 points/targets, the shoot off was for second place, Dave Harrison from Millride and Andy Gillot from Castle, Andy won the shoot off so it was Dowry 1st, Castle 2nd and Millride 3rd.

Was very happy with the way I shot my sitters today, I missed 4 in the field and 4 of my disciplines and 3 sitters. Ended up with 29x40, and in that wind I don't think was a bad score.

Congratulations to James Osbourne for a superb 38x40 and the outright winner of the Masters.

Thanks to all the lads for a cracking course.

See some of you at Shugborough next week.

OOPS! Misspelt Dowry, what a Doofus! No disrespect intended.
Congrats to James & to Dowry collectively for taking the day.

An excellent course well done Dowry.
How someone can only drop two shots in that field is beyond me. Well done James Osborne!

Shaun - its the top 30 shooters from MFTA against the top 30 shooters from NEFTA. I believe that the Far Coley website has a list of the MFTA team on it.

There is an open shoot at Emley next Sunday - the NEFTA Closed. I believe that a few of the MFTA boys are coming along

Don't sell up Lee, 29 really isn't that bad! You've got the entire GP season to get truly despondent about yet!
I couldn't two time my PT, Trudy anyway.

I thought the Frayed Knot was at Redfearns on the 16-03-08. And it was the top 30 from each region.
