    Exclamation point of no return!!!!

today something happened, something from which things may never be the same again.

today, i started hacking the trigger mech of a qb apart in preparations for the bullpup conversion!

not only have i now negated the safety and trigger blade useless for normal function, and somehow managed to bugger the normal stock (not my fault honest) it is safe to say, i have reached the point of no return.

the materials are all purchased for the trigger being extended, the wood for the stock also, all that remains is a little more time, a lot of swearing and no doubt a plea for a new stock and trigger unit so i can call it quits and return it to a rifle!

sounds like the sort of thing I do! It's one of my favourite's to get halfway through and realise I've bu**ered it up.

    good luck!!

sounds like you have the same luck as me. if i diddle have bad luck i would have no luck.
when i tarted up betsie, the superstar. stripped off the old and put on the first layer of oil, ben the dog, who could shed hair for england, decided to walk passed. OH! well start again.
doing up the baikal pistol, the trigger spring decided to bggr orft. still not found 7 years later.
best of luck on the project, keep us informed.
the only thing i can find wrong is the nut on the steering wheel.

by the way, those chaps at rowan engineering who do the s400 mag conversions have made a qb mag! (.22 only as far as i know) not heard back from them yet re: price and when they go on sale but hopefully it will coincide with when i finish the conversion!!!

as a side note, i buggered my trigger linkage this morning so back to the drawing board!
