    Most missed gun :-(

I was thinking today about the rifle I regret parting with ,out of the hundred or so that Iv'e had since the late 70's.
It is by far a HW77k mk 2 ,the one with the thumb slide insread of a press top catch, correct me if I'm wrong about the mk.
Anyway I bet it's still doing the buisness after I parted with it about 10 years ago I think, dismantled, greased ,re sprung ,and everything going together with total engineering exellence.

I won't embarress myself by over doing it (hopefully I havn't already) by saying how straight and flat it would shoot even in .22 ,I could hit empty 12 bore cartriges repeatedly at naked eye straining distances ,and used a 9 x zoom then ,and the stoggies were dropped with head and neck shots from the tops of trees ,chest shots were out for more then the obvious ,but also as it would be like hitting a beer can ,yawn.
Any way I thought I'd share this with you.
Which gun do you wish you could get back again ?
    cheers kev.

    My AR5s .

I only sold it last Monday - and the lad that I sold it to at our club used it on the Tuesday and kicked everyone's butt with it!

I don't miss the rifle that much - I'm just getting sick of fellow club members threatening to kick me to death for selling it to Sam in the first place . He was pretty good with his old Pro Target. Now he's unstoppable with the Rip .

My new nickname is Frank N. Stein - because they reckon I've created a monster.

    Unhappy Damn I miss her.

For me it has to be my first PCP,I have had loads of guns but nothing quite so good as my old trusty Falcon Raptor. She was nothing special but I treated her so ****** well my misses use to get jealous.

I spent a whole summer using her every night(Back when I had some decent rabbiting land)and I swear I could hit anything within 45yards,my shooting mates use to get so angry when I took her out.I know many people find it easy to shoot accurately at those ranges but for me that is earth shatteringly good.Oh and she was a .22.

Being the Fool I am I did a deal with John (JayDeeBee) and got rid of her,I tell you what I don't think there has been a time out in the field when I haven't wished I had the Falcon in my arms.

I have used and owned guns worth well over £900 mainly Rapid set ups,top of the range custom springers you name it I have tried or had it,but I have never quite got the same thrill out of using them as I did with the Falcon.

    Cheers Ol. .

Well, that and the other posts above have confirmed my liking for my FN12TW.

One little gun I do miss is a nice Webley Ranger .177 I used to have. I like little plinkers and this one was good - about 650fps. and it shot where it looked. The Original 23 I've got now is neither as accurate, nor as powerful, nor as nice.

ive only recently got into shooting and ive only really had one gun of my own but my dad had an old webley omega, i bunged a cheap scope on it and it was great for plinking, PCP's dont have the character, you fire them and there whisper quiet and you cant even feel like youve taken a shot- when i afford it i want to get a tx200 HC

I also regret selling my Huntsman. I bought it second hand for FT and although it was very accurate I got tempted by other shiny FT guns. I sold it back to the guy I got it from in the first place.
I then missed it so much that I managed to talk him into selling it back to me.
Around a year later I moved house (180 miles) and thought that my FT days had ended. So I sold the Huntsman again.

Anyway - the good news is that I managed to get it back again around 3 months ago I paid out for a Paul Wilson stock and the Huntsman now enjoys the odd FT round when I go back up North to visit.
