Just posted a thread on the Gen Airgun site about Red dotting my BSA Lincoln Jefferies if anyone is interested.

IIRC last year Hsing-ee floated the idea of fitting a scope to his Webley Mk2 Service. I seem to remember the abusive PMs and death threats began to tail off when he pointed out no lasting damage would be done to the rifle. So you should be OK.

How about dropping an early BSA underlever into an decent stock and tuning the hell out of it with a good scope, what would it be capable of?
I wouldnt be surprised if it was up to scratch to an awful lot of todays rifles.
Might be worth an experiment with an old wreck.

    Thumbs up scope

they had an airsporter mk 1 in target sports a couple of years ago that had profesionally fitted scope rails wish i had bought that , in my opinion if propperly done it dosent spoil anything at the end of the day its the enjoyment of ownership that counts,
