How do leftie's use a Side Wheel Scope?
All the ones I've seen have the wheel on the left.
Shooting L/H, the wheel is on the left of the gun. You're not able to see the distance marks.
Or have I missed something?

I'm left handed and I believe that the wheel on the left favours left handers.
Picture this: A right hander holds the pistol grip of the gun while balancing the gun on on the left knee and turning the wheel with the left.
A left hander holds the forend of the gun with the right hand while turning the wheel with the left.
Granted the left hander has to come off the scope to see the wheel but I think that it's better ergonomically for left handers.
I get it,
You're saying that because the gun is carried, or steadied with the right hand, it's more stable while dialing.
Then it's just a matter of reading off the distance marker as with a front P/A.
Ray
I've always thought the wheel would be better on the right for right handers.
You have to unmount the gun to adjust the turrets anyway.
Steve
Why do you have to (un mount) the gun WHAT are you doing? The mind boggles
Well I suppose we could get into loads and shooting and all that, but perhaps we shouldn't.
OK then, move the butt from your shoulder, oh here we go again.
