QUICK QUESTION,, early HW35 E,, STRIPED and rebuilt and polished to the best of my ability, after 50 shots,, with 14.7grn pellets, 20 shots,, 549fps lowest 555 highest average 553, with very low recoil, now,, would you 35 men be happy with that,or is that a bit low?

10 ft/lb is fine for a 35E.

As long as its shooting sweet with very low recoil, why bother trying to push it up a bit ?

I sometimes wonder how many bunnies were bowled over years ago by old springers doing 8 - 10 ft/lb's - in the days before cheap, readily available chronos

yes you are quite right, used to knock over the odd bunny and crow with my old Airsporter, later tested at 9.5 ftlbs
