    Right side S & W

    Hi Guys
OK that's great. It looks like I don't need to do the logo if we can get pics to Tony.
I have passed the idea to Dragonsinger and asked him for his thoughts, He lives on the "It's not easy being Green" bbs at http://www.itsnoteasybeinggreen.org/ and they have a Huntin', Shootin', Fishin', section so he's ok with our sport and has done several targets for me. When he gets back to me I'll send the results through to Tony.

Members Page updated, with new member No.36 Stephen - northern35s

Welcome to the mad house fella, now load up that gun and listen to the voices in your head

We still want more members, all welcome, we even have our own pistol comp organised by one of our members, the one and only (Thank God) Paddy, he puts a lot of hard work into this so ask him nicely for a slot on the sheet (I find a fiver through Paypal normally gets you a slot).

Thanks for the good wishes, but why did I have to mention the voices, they usually tell me to be quiet:

    Talking UBC Logo

    Hi Gang
Said I would pass the logo thing over to Dragonsinger and he has sent this back. It's only a thumbnail but I have the full size version if it's a runner.

Ok is it me or does it look a bit girlie, nice job but it doesn't growl and say we are the UBC.

    Question Girlie

Hadn't Looked at it from that viewpoint but, Girlie?
Any more obvious and it would have been a lighthouse with two boulders or a banana and two plums.

Ummm..... I'm not one for blowing my own trumpet publically and I (not being predjudice if thats possible) but I think I preferre my logo. Its simple, says exactly what we are about and the way I have the guns suggests a shield of honour?
Dont wish to sound erm how do I say it diplomatically? Ungreatful?
I like it but I dont like it if you see what Im saying?
Oh ####! whats that ol'e chinese saying? "when in hole stop digging?"
I'll get on with sorting the original and etc.....
Ultimately though its down to the membership and the clubs founders

Sorry maybe not girlie but have seen a similar design in one of my daughters mags, Ok it has guns but no ba!!s, Don't get me wrong I like it and it's very well done, but it's not loud enough for my taste, but hey i'm just one little voice. Let's see what Tony comes up with on his revamped logo and let the gang vote on it.

I think maybe that we have similar taste in logo's
I was'nt going to revamp it as such, I was just going to use the left & right side of the revolver pix instead of just a mirror image.

Get to work on it this evening

Here's my Arty Farty take on the logo

The writing is done in a old American Western text, the shapes are of celtic origin, the criss cross outer circle looks like it's from a womans patchwork club, the inner circle colour is very pastel, the outer colour is,, well orange & then you have the three guns.

    So to me it's saying.

We're from Texas but our founder comes from Ireland. We like guns, knitting & sacrificing sheep . Oh we wear pale cotton suits & point to the moon alot.

    But what do I know
