All i can say is that it was a git of a breeze that i never sussed..., which makes these scores even more outstanding...

    1st Ian Taylor 38 ex 40 EV2 MK11
    2nd Andy Calpin 37 ex 40 EV2 MK11
    3rd Paul Eaton 37 ex 40 Pro Target MK111

A very well attended event, 110+ shooters...well done for to the organisation behind it...

I really enjoyed today at Newbury, clearly a lot of hard work went into that course, many thanks to all involved.
A poor start OXO'ing along & a worse finish where I didn't even do that well was balanced by a reasonable middle bit where I collected most of my score of 23.
I haven't shot a timed lane since last GP season so I was pleasantly surprised to find I was well inside the 2mins. I can look forward to Tondu with a little less trepidation now! It was great to see so many folks I haven't seen since Sywell, my appetite is truly whetted now!
Can't wait to read the saga of a certain BBS member's EV from today's shoot.

I also really enjoyed it today, shot atrociously, but I dont care

Thanks to Mark, my shooting partner, Serena for the catering and the BFTA crew.

I was considering doing next weeks GP, but I think I may be changing scopes, otherwise I would come across and give it a go!

    Maybe another time

    unfortunately, too true.

It was cancelled as the entrance alone had become impassable.

5-6 cars off the road in between the a34 and bournemouth...almost blizzard conditions across the new forest, not helped by the gritter sitting in the layby having a cup of tea !
