    John Tattersall.

    THE FOLLOWING HAS JUST BEEN POSTED ON THE ANSTON CLUB SITE;

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    I've just had a phone call from John(Tatt)Tattersall 's niece, June. I've been asked to pass on the sad news that John was found dead in his flat this morning. John had been suffering from ill health for some time and I spoke to him on tuesday and he told me that he had been getting worse. June told me he had spoke of chest pains recently and it looks like he's had an heart attack.

    John was always one of the first involved in anything happening at Anston, and will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting him.

    Condolences go out to his Family.

    I last saw him at the Emley fun shoot - he won a prize in 'C' grade and was over the moon.

    RIP Tatt - I will miss our chats

    Lo there do I see my father. Lo there do I see my mother, and my sisters and my brothers. Lo do I see the line of my people back to its beginning. Lo they do call to me and bid me take my place among them, in the Halls of Valhalla, where the brave may live forever.
