    Your just playing mind games

    I'm also a cr@p shot.

My main reason in doing this to 'strive' to get better & have fun in the process

    So are you in?

    Regards
    Paddy.

    Hi Andy.

Did you use this part of the rules.

Stance: Top two targets two handed / Bottom two targets one handed (that way it caters for everyone & abit different)
I'm not looking forward to compare the scores from two handed to one handed. It's all good fun though.

Don't you think this thread is beginning abit "Oh woe is me" (thats me included )

    Me too please....

    Hi All....
Completely new to this - excuse any etiquette errors!

    Paddy...
Me & the Beesa would like to take part too if poss.

Forgive stupid question - but "Range: Set at 6yds" is that from your feet or the muzzle (otherwise might be nearer 5 yards!!!

    Thanks

    Harvey

Actually Harvey that's a good question for those of us that haven't shot competition before.....
I assume it's the same as darts...foot against the ockey which is six yards...yes????

If anyone was after the coveted 'wooden spoon' you've had it! I had a practice earlier and it was woeful. I haven't printed the targets off yet but if they're as small as I think they are (same as the ones I used) I'll end up losing points for hitting the wrong one!

How does the scoring work btw, if a pellet lands mostly in the '3' ring but breaks the line to the '2' ring is that a 2?

I would asume inward scoring to make us look a bit better than we are, so if it's mostly in the 8 but breaks the 9 ring you score 9.

is this agree-able with the rest of you guy's if so Paddy can you add to the list of rules fella.

I think in competition it's the highest scoring ring the pellet breaks into is what you score....

Best so for was 42 (3x8 2x9) though i think luck had a lot to do with it. Averaging around the high 30's with my Beeman P3. I am shooting the 10m target at 10m as this is what it's set up for.
