Original Model 50 And Webley Tracker For Sale

    Both sold STU
    First up.

Original Model 50, .22, manufactured 07 71, so it's got the nicer rounded stock forend with the Schnabel tip. IMO one of the nicest looking air rifles ever made. The open sights are all present and correct, the rearsight blade rotates to give you 4 different aperture shapes, vee, rectangular, halfround, and another one . The foresight elements can also be changed, £10.80 for a set of 4 from Chambers.

It appears to have had very little use, as there's no real wear on the trigger guard, trigger and underlever (and no, it hasn't been reblued ), there are a few minor marks on the stock and some minor pitting in the metalwork around the loading tap, I think perhaps someone was wearing a ring whilst using it.

Overall, for a nearly 40 year old rifle it's in exceptional condition, compared to today, these older airguns are really in a different leaque in the quality and engineering departments, barring any major disaster, it will easily reach it's 100th birthday

    Second up.

Webley Tracker Carbine, .22, Theoben gasram fitted, smooth as a very smooth thing to cock and shoot. A very nice short useful rifle, with the sidelever it's ideal for shooting from a vehicle or use where space is restricted, a great fast handling ratting rifle.

There are usage marks on the stock, but nothing to drastic, the metalwork and bluing are very good, the rearsight blanking plate is in place along with the muzzle brake.

Hi Ben, the QB bits turned up today, the little gas gun is now completely sorted. Thanks very much.

That Original 50 really is a beautiful gun, very elegant, and they handle really nicely, much lighter than they look and the triggers are very sweet.

    Good luck with the sale.

    cheers

    That Original looks gorgeous!!
Bump for a top man and a top rifle. The Webley doesn't look bad either.
