I've just read the manual on the subject in an American pistol shooting magazine.

basically, in summation, and at the end of the day......

Stand very still and hold your breath........

Will post a link to a very useful manual tomorrow for you, its at work.

This was posted by Hsing-ee on another thread. (don't know how to redirect......)

The United States Army Marksmanship Unit's Pistol Training manual is available free as a pdf download from various websites. It is a comprehensive document which lays down the theory and practice of accurate target shooting with the pistol, most or all of which applies to shooting air-pistol and CO2 pistols. It is NOT a manual of combat or battle shooting, but a very lucid explanation of how to get the bullet/pellet through the dead centre of the target.

    Precision pistol pointers

Hi John, a couple of really useful websites:

www.pilkguns.com - have a look at the coaching section - some in depth interviews and advice from world class AP shooters on both technique & the mental side.

www.targettalk.org - discussion forum - have a look at the olympic pistol section - some useful tips on training and so on.

    Good luck with your shooting!
