    Scope mounts

From memory, most of the scopes at the time of the Meteor Mk1 had integral mounts and fitted the special rails of the BSAs and Webleys. Maybe you need to find an old 4X15 or 4x20 scope.

Scope mounts (which fit central) for a Meteor Mk 1 (and early Airsporter) ? ? ? ? ?

This may be of some use. I wish you the very best of luck with your search.

    Mounts

    Mallyally.

They are about 16mm which is a rim fire mount, ~Bay has some on
offer now and again but they need to be modified.

If you get a set and it has the scope stop pin to prevent movment you have to drill it out also.......
'They are not deep enough' so you have (with a half round file) to
file a curve into the underside of the mount to match the action profile.
This lets the mount sit down enough to clamp on the indents.

I will take a few pictures if you want. I have fitted scopes to all my
    MK11 Airsporters.
