Is Cowboy Action Shooting big in the UK? I know that due to regs you'd be restricted to percussion revolvers, but many CAS shooters in the US prefer percussion over cartridge anyway.

Its not big but there are clubs that do it. I shot a 3 gun cowboy action competition this morning - percussion revolvers, shotguns, and lever action rifles.

Personally I always felt that CAS shouldn't mandate the 3 guns: make rifle, shotgun, revolver, separate and independent competitions, with an additional 3-gun aggregate winner. Some people can't afford to buy / can't afford the time to practice with the 3 guns.
