    Jackal Mainspring

    Just got my new baby - A-A jackal/combat sidelever.

    I thought seeing it must be 20 years old, I might give it a service inc. a new mainspring.
    I can get a replacement from Chambers or an Airforce square section spring for similar money....

    Has anyone got any advice on the subject before I make the wrong decision?

    To be honest Harvey, those combat model jackals are rubbish. You really wont like it. i'd take it off your hands out of sympathy though so you can get a 'proper' gun.
