Use AA Fields -the heavies will rob power and trajectory....
Has anyone chronied a .22 Theoben Eliminator with Bisley magnums or HN baracudas? What power are you getting?
There seems to be conflicting reports on the 27 fpe advertised on the Theoben web-site.I have just ordered one and would like to know what to expect.
Thanks.

Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.
Thanks for the info, but I was looking for actual chrony test results, to see if they match Thoebens .
Anyone else?
AA Fields at 900 fps is smooth as silk.... haven't seen anyone try the heavies out of them, sorry...

I used to run mine at around 760 to 780 with barracudas. But as Jon has said the rifle has to work hard to throw these heavies out at full tilt. Try turning the wick down to 71-720 and things are a lot smoother. Or use AA if they suit.
AA's are the better choice if they work.
Mine worked better with the hevies though - from a grouping perspective at 40+ yards anyway.
I think and therefore...... I refuse to steal someone else's quote to try to sound more erudite or profound than I actually am.
