eb 22 problem

I have an EB22 which is great fun for what it is but have a problem in that when you insert the capsule, no matter how hard you try and screw in the capsule, it only just pierces. It seems as if something is stopping the capsule seating properly as there are a few turns of the thread left before it stops.

Is it possible to get to the pin - I have stripped it down as far as taking the hammer and spring out but cannot get to the valve inside. Any clues please?

If you take the spring etc out, use something to push the valve out from the spring end to the front. It will come out the front end where you insert the co2.
