    Daisy co2 pistols?

    hello all.

has anyone here got any knowlage of daisy co2 pistols made around 20 years ago?

my uncle has one at my grandads house that he said i can have if i can find some seals for it but have never heard of any daisy co2 pistols.

its single shot with the co2 capsle held in the grip and loads via i little probe you put out of the back on the gun and then load the pellet from the top. its a .177.

    thanks

If it's 20-odd years old, it could be a Daisy model 790 (the 780 is the same gun in .22"). A quick search turned this up, which also gives a bit of the gun's history:

    http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml83/83066.html

According to John Walter, it was then discontinued in 1985. Couldn't really say whether you'll be able to get spares for it easily or not.

    Daisy Info

    Hi
I had a Daisy Powerline 44 and could not find out anything about it. I emailed Daisy direct and they sent me a manual FOC.

    Daisy

This is the Daisy continuation of the S+W made Model 78 or 79 - single shot co2 pellet pistol . Daisy took over the rights to make these when S+W lost interest ...there were some corners cut in manufacture from the earlier versions but still a very nice pistol to own and use ...Very Nice find - wish I could find similar !
