    HI all
    Oilyreid please not oilyrag.
Brilliant weekend in very good company, what ever the challenge the lads rise to it and overcome.
Glad to hear Steve and Julie got back Ok.
I hope the lad from Norfolk had a good run back likewise the lad from Wales.
Well done to all that took part.

Aye - got back safe and sound - just under three hours (weekend traffic I guess)

Cracking weekend - good to meet some new faces (nbrooks, oilyrag and Mrs Valentine) and see Snooook, Steven, Sol and the DTSGB guys again. Fantastic work on the cladding guys - looks brilliant. Big thanks to Sol, Julie and Neil for getting the fire doors and rear end (OOEEER) looking a bit better again!

    Cheers guys

cladding at the front looks really good, as do the doors at the back

ride home wasnt great, terrible side wind for most of the a40, but i got home safe in the end though.

You have all done a cracking job, and nice to have met you all.
rosie, thanks for the grub and board and nice to have met u, you do a fantastic job. the place would not be the same without u
to all guys I know i was a pain sometimes, always will be but i can say i had a agreat time in the toilets with you!!
Si the thanks go to you and all the BBSers who have given up their time to help us transform the shooting range. We are truly gratefull. Can't believe it is over four years ago that it all started. I thought I had some good pictures to show from this weekend you but as I'm a dope with the camera on my phone all I have is a couple of video's of Steve climbing up a ladder to put the top piece of cladding in (and a lot of views of the car park and my feet!!!) Can't wait till the Christmas party so that we can all thank you properly and you can all see how good the range looks now.

We have been talking, Rosie, and we think it's necessary to do one, final work party to sort out the front elevations. We are thinking about 24th Sept.
How does that fit in with your calendar?

We also need a call to arms for that weekend. Seriously. We need volunteers to fetch, carry, saw, screw, measure etc. etc. etc.

    Who's up for it?

Ollyreid has promised to finish of the cladding. If he can't do it then 24th Sept looks good for us but I need to check to see if the accommodation is available. The Junior games finishes on the 23rd so we can just stay up there.

You could say that - bizarrely enough it's the same as mine (my proper one, not my stage name )

    Update

To all concerned from Oilyreid aka Nick.
My Son William and I are going to start the other larger area this week end.
Pray for decent weather, we are local so it,s easier for us.
I also have some time free next week so we can get a run at it.

Your idea Snock(Pete) is a good one and i will update the bbs regarding progress.
I have work to attend to in Scotland after the 21st and will be away for a month this would make sure anything we can't finish gets done before the winter sets in and make it even harder.
If anybody's free your welcome to join us, my only concern is its all off ladders, I have not had the time to Blag a tower scaffold.
I know you will all be with us in spirit if not in person.
    More power to the bbs
    Oilyreid and William

If for any reason you can't complete it, a few of us can come down 24/25 september and I'll bring my long ladders.
