I hope there was no alcohol consumed the night before and Graham was
    just very tired

Not sure I can be associated with heavy drinking

Now seriously folks, those of you who are reading this, please try
to ge involved in this, you won't feel the same about your shooting
    afterwards.

Doesn't matter what you feel you can and can't do, there is more than
enough stuff to be getting on with, remember the old motto:
"If you can P*####, you can paint, and it really is as simple as that, turn
up give some time and make a difference to someone. Cleaning up,
moving materials, demolition, painting and just generally doing
a few bits and pieces can make a difference.

You can't stand either side of the "car park line" and not feel a bit
    choked.

Rosie has asked me to pass on her sincere thanks for all the work that you guys have done. She would post it herself but she's having difficulties logging in, but I'm sorting that out for her.

    Here's her message:

Please please please put a post on for me to thank everyone for all their hard work this weekend, you have all once again amazed us with the amount of work completed. I have just emailed the rest of the committee with the list of work completed and it went on for ages. I can't wait for them to see it.

    Many thanks,

    Rosie.

    Pete.

Thumbs up Good Good News !

Today I have spoken to the man at European Asbestos and he has confirmed that he is still willing to remove the asbestos from the rear wall free of charge. I shall be emailing him pictures hopefully tomorrow along with snocks contact details incase he needs to visit site.

They are hoping to remove the asbestos on the friday before the next work party so we can go straight in and rebuild the back wall on the saturday.

Once again a big thankyou to Darrell Spillane and the lads at EAS you are truely a man of your word

    Paul,

Looks like we will need some temporary weatherproofing between
Asbestos removal and rebuilding the wall, i.e. Friday night.

Other than that the building is open to the elements and scrotes.

TD has offered to be the protection for the night if needs be, I don't think anyone would go near him in his boxers or we could just put the morning Graham pictures up that will scare anyone off

    Better still,

just leave the 2 of them in there with a case of Newkie brown, even the
elements wouldn't dare to go in.

We can then just save the cash and spend it on women and fast cars

    Hi Everyone
At last I have managed to log on - thankyou Pete but now I don't know how to start thanking everyone. The weekend was great fun, it's good to put faces to the names of people on the thread. So much was done and Keith and I can't wait for the next training weekend to show everyone the results of your hard work. Keith was amazed and very impressed with way jobs were tackled and the speed that they were completed. I was impressed that Terry didn't swear too much when he got paint on his shirt!! It might have been different if he had got some on his new car. We also need to thank the very nice man at the Alylesbury reclycle centre who after I had visited the site on Friday afternoon and told him what we were doing, rang on Saturday morning and told us he had two sinks comlete with taps for us. There are some really great people around and I feel proud to have met some more of them this weekend. We will be at the CLA Game Fair on Friday and Saturday so if you are going please come and say hello to us so that we can thankyou personally. I better stop now as I think I need to go and peel some onions.

New car you say? Pah, I never give it a thought*. Same goes for the new BlackBerry. Not even a mention. No, I just try to get on with things in that quiet way I've made my own.

    What?

    Bloody what?

Here's a few shots of the infamous back wall in all it's asbestosic glory.

    Picture 1.

    Picture 2.

As you can see, they need replacing pretty badly.

    Pete,

Are we going to replace the windows in the new structure or just a solid
    wall?
