    Sorry Rosie,

Weekend of 18/19 not good for me - away on 18th, and my wife returns from a week away at 12.30pm on the 19th.

To fail to be there when she returns would be a REALLY bad idea.

I have only recently chanced upon this discussion thread, and wish to take the opportunity of congratulating everyone here on the incredible work you have put into this initiative. As a former disabled competition shooter and administrator, and someone living an entire hemisphere away down in South Africa, it does my heart proud to read of your efforts and rewards.

Our shooting involvement with Stoke dates back to the mid-80’s, but sadly it was not positive. We experienced bitterness and hostility from Stoke’s then administrators of disabled shooting, who flatly refused to correspond, meet or share info with us. Judging from the state of the facilities prior to your efforts it seems they also left a legacy of misconduct and neglect with their own shooting community.

But they will all now hopefully have shuffled off, and what a breath of fresh air has blown in. Imagine if we had managed to meet folk like you twenty years ago, we would have moved mountains!

Keep up the good work guys, you really are doing an outstanding job.

    Regards, HILTON

    Sinks

We've been to our local B & Q and now we have 2 'Basins to go' (complete with pedestals) in the back of the car. Too heavy to lift out so they are staying there till Saturday. Also went mad and got 4 new toilet roll holders. Have also acquired some new bins so those old metal ones can be chucked out at last. Do I need to order any wood for this weekend? If not we will come up early Saturday not Friday afternoon. I'm not ordering a skip, I will do some trips to the dump and save a couple of hundred pounds.

dont think we needed a skip anyway, but that dorr you were talking about i cannot get one for that price! i have found out today though that you can get a disabled access plastic door, it uses a special base and has it ramped, might be an idea to ask for that if you still want it!!
