    Will these fit my hw45?

I've been looking for some nice grips for my hw45, and i've seen these on the pachmayr website. To fit colt 1911 and replicas, it says......

    thanks

Yes, I have them on mine, bought from the USA via evilbay.

As was said, those grips will fit the HW45. I have seen them on other HW45 pistols.

Although most Colt 1911 grips fit the HW45, sometimes slightly longer grip screws are needed. I bought four new screws at a hardware store for around 8 or 10 cents each (10 Cdn pennies). The screws are silver coloured but I could have painted or blued them. I kind of like the little bling...lol.

The other thing you may notice is the small grip void in the 1911 grips that is for the mag release button. A small piece of black tape hides the little divot in the grip front... where the button would be on the real 1911. You can see the divot on my right hand pic, right behind the trigger. I put the black tape on the grip panel but plan to apply it to the frame which would look better.

I've got those exact ones on mine - have a look at 'my collection'

I did have to pack the finger grip area with a small piece of rubber as it seemed a bit slack to me.

I got mine from from Smart reloader
