    can you work this out ????

    if the gun is in .177
    and the muzzle speed is 394ft/s
    what power does this work out thanks in advance Paul

    you need to know the weight of the pellet to do the maths but that doesnt sound very high.

    I shoot a 7.9 grain mosquito at 780fps which is registering at 10ft lbs energy

    If you can tell us the pellet name someone will know the weight.
    The equation to work out muzzle energy is Velocity (in this case 394) squared multiplied by the weight in grains then divide the total by 450240 and the result will be the muzzle energy in ft/lbs.
