    Weihrauch Pellets are ace!!

Hi just thought I'd add to this post, I haven't seen weihrauch F&T Pellets mentioned. I bought a tin from Tonys camo and they're fantastic in my HW97K, Haven't seem them for sale anywere else.Only £4 for 200.
RWS Superfield are also very good,
My choice of hunting pellet is also RWS Super H Point.
Just purchased some Prometheus to give them a bash, you don't know until you've tried eh? Lot of poor reviews though
Might try the Weihrauch Magnums next, has anybody tried them?

My box of 100 Prometheus pellets arrived on Wednesday I should have listened to the reviews Could'nt get a grouping at point blank with these things, needless to say 90 pellets going cheap on a popular auction site!

I was just going to say here, how good I've found Defiant .177 pellets made by Prometheus and saw this.
I ordered a 1000 .177 4.52 posted for £13. Enclosed free were about five other pots of a hundred each, of other pellet types and head sizes.
Bob at Defiant Bob/R that is, sent the free jobbies for me to give to my mates at the range to try. good PR I thought!!
Anyway, the 4.48, 4.50 (7.5 gr) were the same as my 4.52mm in both my HW springers, spot on!! Shooting apples at least 40 yards, depending how high up on the tree LOL all shot in the same hole or same apple at least Cookers LOL.. Well the smaller size did shoot a bit higher ,being a bit less tight in the barrel. Not the most scientific of test's but good enough for me. The Theoben much preferred the smaller two sizes, but the Defiant pellet skirt fitted in the HW barrels superbly, better infact than HW's own pellet I thought..
To be fair I didn't try them close up!! but for pistols, I know Bob recommends a different pellet type some of which he enclosed free.
I have tried to get my buddies at the range to club together to buy 12 boxes between us. No doing!! you can order a mix and match variety but I fancy these 4.50 head size as a good compromise. Or would be quite happy with the 4.52 which fit as snugly as the AA I tried. Other pellet brands that I could also find no difference in comparison were BLRG's, Accupell and Lazerdomes. Dare I say, not quite as good either in some cases..

I am yet to try the Falcon pellets in the FN-12, but i know it likes accupels anyway.
I bought a few sample packs to see what was best in the Daystate MK3,
i bought, accupels, some crosman pointed ones i forget the name of, and some daystate select 4.51 and 4.52.
The accupel grouping was similar to that i would expect from a shotgun, i think technically it was about a 10 inch group. Not good!
The other crossman pellets were pretty bad and they did not cycle nicely through the mag either, so they were no good.
The selects were good, i had a tin of 4.5 exacts anyway, so i could compare the 3. I cleaned the barrel between each group and gave a good 20 shots before groupings came in tight again, the 4.5's were pretty good, almost one hole groups. the 4.51 tightened in again to a ragged one hold group, the 4.52's tightened in even more and gave me a 10 shot group that was marginally bigger than a single .177 hole in the paper.
That was done at 25 yards on an open range.

Yesterday i tried the air arms on 4.52's, pretty good to be fair, not as tight as the daystate, but not far off!!!
Good Deals: Chief Wiggum, sniper-wolf, Brianf51, Fordy, Maffs, Sgibbar
    .177 Falcon FN-12 Thumbhole. CZ 452 .17 custom, Air Arms S400T
