    Where to buy ?

Hi, this is my first post so i'm hoping this post is in the right place !

I want to buy a Crossman 1377 pump up air pistol but with these lovely new laws I'm at a loss to know where to buy one!!

In the good old days I would have serched the net found the best price and placed an order . Now I have to go to a shop !!!

I'm in Chesham in Bucks so if anyone knows a good Gundealer not to far away from me who might stock Crossman products it would be a great help.

Obviously I'll bill the government for all the expensive petrol I use getting there !!

    Cheers

Keep an eye out in the for sale section on here, buying a secondhand pistol from a private seller is not against the new VCR laws..

You couls also put an ad in the wanted section for one..

As Chris says, secondhand on here is a good way to go but if you want new and your nearest firearms dealer does not do Crosman just buy off the net and have it sent to your nearest dealer who will then issue it to you for a fee.
Face to face is the best way to buy new though as you can try before you buy!

If my memory serves me correctly (unlikely at my age) there is a gun shop in Chesham but it's mainly shotties and powder burners. The airguns were overpriced and some in very poor condition.

After that, it's an easy trip down the A416 & A355 to Dowlings at Seer Green where you should receive sensible assistance.

Crosman supplies might be a bit tricky at the moment as the distributorship has just changed from AGS/Webley to ?.

    I'll put it this way,
    I ordered
    I paid
    They sent it
    It arrived
It worked ( although it doesn't look like a 1377 any more!!)

My local "fishing tackle" shop stocks very few airguns now - no pistols at all - but they were happy to order a 1377 for me. £90 - not cheap but options are limited. I'm sure pretty much any dealer would be able to get one for you (if they know you're going to buy it)
