A dismal September score below, my own fault, I rushed the session as I'm off to the lakes for ten days tomorrow.

    37 , 38 , 41 (more like it, getting back in the groove), 39

Must put me in with a chance of the wooden spoon anyway.

As it's your birthday (HOPE YOU HAVE A VERY MERRY ONE!) I'm sure no one would wish to deny you those spoons.

    Go for them

    September scores

Here's my humble effort for September:

    40, 27, 39, 32 = 138 / 200.

You are of course at at disadvantage as your scores have a lot further to travel than anyone elses!

From rediculous to sublime (well, nearly)

    Evening Polly et al

Had to rest a while after finally getting home from work. After all, a 9 mile car journey lasting nearly 2 1/2 hours is bound to take it out of you Bad crash closed the coast road and caused much of Sussex to become a cark park. Hey ho.

    Ridiculous ......

Fair description of my pre-match practice card which totalled 166 including 2x 6 pointers and one scoring just 4

Gave it a half hour rest before sticking up the REAL targets.

Ridiculosity (new word of the day) continued for first two diagrammes:

6,8,9,9,9 = 41 (not atrocious, but not good either), followed by

    5,7,8,9,10 = 39 (BAD)

Had a think about what was going wrong; what was I doing different?

Answer = two things. 1. Trigger finger placement. Rekoned I'd been putting finger-tip on trigger, rather than wrapped round. 2. Grip on gun a little too 'loose'. Outcome .....

    Sublime .. (relatively)

Diagrammes 3 & 4 made up for above:

    9,9,10,10,10 = 48

    8,8,10,10,10 = 46

Brought total up to my average (or even a tad above - unlike me, but I've not kept close tabs on my stats ) figure of

    174

Will I find the same in another month? This and more questions may be answered, or may not.

    Scores

    Hi Graham
Pete shot his September cards yesterday and I am probably a day late in posting them

If so, that is not a problem, please record these as his October scores and don't tell him. That way, I wont get a bollocking and he will be a month ahead in the remaining rounds rather than shooting on the deadline

If you can't make the club Saturday for the pellet testing session, myself or JF will try the new RWS field pellets out of the clubs Logun but I doubt if anything can match that JSB group at 25 yards

    Petes scores were:

    42/41/42/43 = 168

sorry guys, got to stick to the cut off deadline.

Barnsr... did you want these scores as your October submission or ignoring.

John...if the Rws guy is still there after about 2pm I may get a chance to nip in, if not hold back a few of their field pellets if possible.

    Too late

Just shot my September scores (been on hols) and realised I'm too late to post.
    No worries - it's only a bit of fun - ain't it?

    Keep up the good work.

    Regards

What good advice. I will try these two things next time!

Ignore those scores if too late for September. I'm in early with my October scores though: 36, 39, 39, 43 = 157.
