October scores, just in time I think.
    33, 36, 40, 38 = 147

On a blank sheet of paper, I can get them all near the centre. Add a black bull and it all goes pear-shaped!
    Walther CP-2 Match, FAS 604 & Tau 7 target pistols, Smith & Wesson 6" & 4" co2 pistol, Crosman 1377,
Baikal IZH 53 pistol, Gamo CFX Royal,177, Umarex SA-10 CO2 pistol.

    I missed this!!!

    Hi Polly,

    I missed this comp

When does this one end and next one start? I now have a couple of "Effort to cock" pistols A HW40 and a HW70 as well as a Gamo P800 (when I get it working again!)

    I'm eager to join

    latest scores

    Hi Graham
    My October scores are 41/40/43/40 = 164

I had intended to shoot my November cards today but the dam seals are leaking on the Fas 604. I replaced them 2 weeks ago with Screwfix Direct cheapos.
It looks like I am going to have to spend a few pounds and get the proper replacements

Pete has shot his November score which is:
    37/42/38/40 = 157

Hi Tony, this competition end in November.
As yet I have no plans to organise another one, this is the third one I have done and now I am finding more demands on my own time.

Should I be able to do another one then I will post it on this thread.

    Cheers

I practiced today: hope to shoot-for-scoring on Friday.

Sorry the comp's "taking a break", but I'd have had to anyway: am very busy with the regular UBC shoot, plus running their Police Pistol comp, plus the fact that my (only) "cockable" pistol needs some repairs...I think we can all use a break.

Hi Graeme, if you don't run another comp, or even if you do, you and all your participants are more than welcome to join the UBC and shoot in our comp.

Yep! And the UBC's Police Pistol competition too! See that Thread in the Air Pistols section (above): especially messages No. 24, and 38 and 39.

It's right on the mark for anyone who used to compete in combat pistols pre-ban or for anyone who would like to.

    New Pistol

Hope this is within the rules. I've sold the Gamo and acquired a HW45, which gave the following results.

    26
    34
    24
    35

It just goes to show - it's not the guns - it's the person behind it!

It's only a bit of fun.

    Best wishes to everyone

    Spike

Not sure whether I should have practiced more or whether it would have mattered: but I shot a lousy....

    32, 32, 29, 22 = 115 / 200.

    sorry Graeme

.... for missing this (October) round.

Went and left it until my usual last minute, and then just HAD to go and shoot some bunnies on Friday evening.

T'was my first opportunity at a new venue and, especially as the weather was almost perfect, couldn't afford to turn it down - specially as the land owner had asked me (rather than me knocking on doors). Given the level of rabbit infestation, it looks like a job for life

Now ... who do I ask about NV kit ?

Promise NOT to miss the final round. May even drag the HW out of the box right now, and get a score in early (for once ).
