er... no....but this was my first airgun - like a Gat push in /pop out barrel? - you have to aim about 20 inches below the intended target - I put thousands of pellets through mine - and even got to the point where I could reasonably consistently hit a tin can at 15 yards.......lost mine somewhere between being 12 to 30+ years old!!

Can you tell me if there are any markings on it?

Where was it made? should either be Germany or Great Britain.

    Is it tin plate?

Depending on which one you have, it is worth between £10 and £95, with a little more info we can tie it down to a date and value.

Bob,the only markings on it i can see are "DIANA MOD.2 made in great britain" and it has a pic of a woman throwing away a bow and holding a rifle aloft stamped/engraved above the writing.
The grips are black plastic and the body appears to be blued steel not tin plate.

From what you describe, I would say you have a Diana Model 2 made by "diana", Millard Bros, Motherwell Scotland.

These were made from 1963 and are valued at somewhere between £20 and £50 depending on condition, original box etc.

    hope this helps.

The lady on the gun would be Diana the huntress- i think she's a roman Godess of the hunt or something similar...

    Thumbs up

I've a mod2 in quite nice condition, I bought it from the sales forum on here, From memory I think it was £17 posted, It was quite a few years ago though so I may be wrong!

Another that I bought (Mistake!!) for a tenner, It's useless as the threads that holds the lot together are kaput!!

    Top one..

The first prewar mod 2s (1930-33) look like this:

Any Diana made in Great Britain was made by Scotland-based Milbro after the war, most but not all of them based on German Diana prewar designs.
