Just a question,is there a reason why these air pistol's are low powered
as I used to have a Sheridan co2 pistol that gave over 5fp's
Could it be because it look's like the real thing?
I used to have the real 586 357 in the 80's when I used to shoot in police
pistol matches and these co2 pistol's do look like the real thing!!

I don't think thats the reason Richard. I think its more to do with the fact that they use the 12gm CO2 capsule and Umarex want you to get as many shots as possible out of it. In one of the airgun mags a few years ago there was an article by a gunsmith who had ramped up the power in an Umarex Colt 1911 by modifying the valve but he was only getting about 15 shots from it before the cylinder needed replacing. If that was the general case I don't think they would sell very well.
