    308 0r 300 win mag

    Hello everyone, I am in the mode to buy a custom m-40 from the shop of remington and just wonder what would be a better long distance shooter, the 300 0r 308.
    can any one give me the pros and cons, this is a 3200 dollor buy so I need to get info about this.

    They will both do the job well. However the .300 will have a better BC, flatter, less subseptable to wind and subject to your shooting have better range also a damn sight more expensive to run and will have alot more kick than .308.

    However .308 has been very succesful for a long time and is cheaper to run.
