Well, I was thinking about entering the July competition with the Smith, along with the Beeman; but that big revolver is just too heavy for my weak little hands, I reckon.

I mean, I can hold it pretty steady using 2 hands, and shoot it pretty well, either single action or double, with both paws on it. But one handed? Surely thou jesteth! Two of my first 3 shots went in the wrong bulls. To make it worse(t), they went into two different bulls!

I like to shoot the Smith double action and 2 handed, and it seems to like being shot that way: so for the time being at least, I'll use it as a trainer in lieu of a cartridge .357, and stick with the P3 for the competitions.

Jim give it ago, even if your score is low you can only improve on it in future comps with a little practice, Last months comp I entered with my Webley Typhoon, this wieghs a lot more than the S&W and it's a springer with some serious kick, now that one handed is a real nightmare and only managed to score a 130, but hope for better this month.

Hey Jim, come on, I reckon you must be pretty darn cool if you can hit 2 bulls that you aint even aiming for

I went out today at lunch time and shot my score for this months comp with my CP99, did okay I suppose
Then I did it again, using the R-77 and the 357 you should see the mess I made one handed with the 357 not one bull and I WAS aiming at em

Having said that my lowest score was with my R-77
Why? dunno, look at that boy in the thumbnail on the R-77 thread I should have done better with that than the CP99! Dont make sense to me

All right, mates; there you go with your encouragement! If I can get out with it today or tomorrow I'll enter the Smith in the July CO2 comp.

If I can't: I'll do it next month.

    Cheers,
